INTRODUCTION
Our founder Mr.Fong Yoon Tong started with a small cottage in 1950’s with hand-made genuine leather men dress shoes and hand-sewn stitched down casual safety shoes with rubber outsole. The product were accepted in the market quickly.
As the business progressed, the place became too small to cater for lager production capacity. The cottage was then moved to a shop cum work place. The first company formed was then known as Ngee Ming Shoemaker. Mr.Y.T.Fong started to employ more workers to increase production output. Besides selling some of his final products in his shop he also distributed to shoe retailer. The business had expanded and soon the company also manufactured police and army boots, safety shoes & safety boots as well as police belts.

BASF PU SYSTEM

BASF PU system is the solution that use in footwear soling. The polyurethane system provide an excellent physical properties in terms of flexibility, abrasion, hydrolysis resistance, durability, lightness and high resilience. The material itself not only use to bind between layers but also offer comfort that helps to reduce fatigue for long hours of motions. Yet, the material is a water blown and environmental friendly production.

Direct soiling technology has the finest quality of sole adhesion by plasticized polyurethane material inject directly into the mould which penetrating the shoe upper and sole material to achieve the best bonding between layers. High pressure screw injection able to obtain the optimal index of polyurethane that effectively reduce weight with no compensation in bonding strength. Precise temperature controlling are capable to manipulate the viscosity of polyurethane without damaging the properties itself.

The engineered design of directional and asymmetrical pattern combination has the most effective outcome for getting rid of water and maximize traction on surface. Research studies show that deeper channel are also better at shedding and dispersing water.
